When you register for the Man Up Men's Retreat, contact us with a question, or ask to receive text reminders, we collect the information you give us directly. This typically includes your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, home congregation, and details about your group such as the number of people attending, ages of teens or preteens, lodging needs, and meal preferences.

How we use your information

We use your information only to plan and run the retreat. That means estimating headcount for meals, assigning cabins or RV spots, organizing activities, answering your questions, and sending you reminders about the weekend. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the retreat.

Text messages

If you provide your mobile number and check the box agreeing to receive text reminders during registration, we may send you reminders about the spring retreat, schedule updates, or last-minute changes. You can also opt in or out at any time by updating your registration. Message frequency is limited, typically a few messages before and during the event. Message and data rates may apply.

We will not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing or any other purpose. Your mobile information is shared only with our SMS delivery provider as needed to send the messages, and we require that provider to keep your information confidential.

How to opt out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After that, you will not receive any further text reminders unless you register again in the future. You can also ask us to remove your number or update your preferences by contacting us using the information below.

How we protect your information

Access to registration and contact information is limited to retreat organizers who need it to plan the event. We use industry-standard security for our database and do not store payment information, because the retreat is free to attend.
